Klaus Florian Vogt, one of today’s outstanding Wagner tenors, makes his only Los Angeles appearance this season in a recitaly presented by the Wagner Society of Southern California and the Opera League of Los Angeles. His repertoire includes mainly dramatic roles such as Lohengrin, Parsifal, Tannhäuser, Stolzin, Siegmund, Siegfried and Tristan as well as Florestan (Fidelio) and Paul (Die tote Stadt). He is in demand as a guest at all the world’s major opera houses and at the Bayreuth Festival where he performed this past summer, the Salzburg Festival and numerous international festivals.
