This Seminar begins our 2008-2009 season.  The Pucinni trilogy, to be directed by

Leonard Slatkin and Woody Allen will be reviewed as well as the new production of The Fly.

OPERA TALKS AT JULIENNE’S

 

Join us at Julienne’s Restaurant at 2649 Mission, San Marino, on the first Monday of each month, from 7 pm to 9 pm.  2008 dates:  June 2. Each month a different speaker from the LA Opera’s Speakers Bureau will enlighten and entertain us on a variety of opera topics. The cost is $10 per person, which includes the opera talk, a beverage (wine/coffee/tea/soft drink) and something tasty to nibble on.  For an additional $10, you may order the popular “Light Supper Box” which includes half a sandwich (your choice of chicken tarragon, tuna, lamb or grilled vegetables), a salad (your choice of pasta or Caesar) and a sweet treat.  Note: Cash only, please. No credit cards, checks or money orders will be accepted. Reservations are limited to 35 and an RSVP is requested.
